In a stunning beautiful environment, at the foot of mount Pelion, 15 km from Volos and just 500 m from the hamlet of Kato Gatzea, on a green slope, which ends to a beautiful sandy beach, with a dry and pleasant clima (weather), are our properties, two beautiful pieces of land.

The 1st property is 2.400 m2. and goes up following the hill and ends to a quiet and small road. This property has two traditional houses that are connected with an underground tunnel.

The construction of these two houses was completed two years ago and at this moment are the permanent living house of the owner – designer and constructor of these properties.

Arriving to this land, from its lower entrance, we enter the covered parking and see next to us the huge tree trunks, that were transferred from the mountain, to be used as the wooden base of the stairs, which takes us, to the next (upper) level. At this level is a small forest, containing almost 100 pine trees. At the edge of this forest we find the BBQ and the shaded dinner area.

Taking few steps, we get to the green grass garden of the 1st house, were the garden is surrounded by trees, one next to another.

The house is approximately 80 m2 and is covered by a tiled roof and has a small yard with tiles and a table and sitting area made by stone.

From the yard we enter to the upper level, which is 35 m2 in size and under a beautiful wooden roof, we see the hand made dining furniture, the living room and the kitchen area. At the center of this area, is the balcony door, which leads us to the veranda. This area is covered by a tiled kiosk, which faces the green garden, the little forest of the pine trees, the sea and the mountains to the south.

From the sitting area, we decend to the lower level of the house, and we are in a beautiful open plan area of 45 m2. Here is the fire place, the hand made double bed, three arches facing the sea and a small bed build in the wall, next to a window, which makes you feel that you are sleeping outside.

At the back corner of this area, is the bathroom. Seeing this bathroom, someone can realize the effort (passion) that was put into building this house.

Further from the bathroom entrance we see a door that leads us to the underground tunnel, which is 15 meters long and 2 meters wide and at the top side is curved. Walking under the reinforced concrete, we see on our left, openings that are useful as storing places. At their center is iconostasis.

Continuing we reach the end of the tunnel, where the you will find the wooden circular stairs, that stands on a big tree trunk, and leads us to one of the bedrooms of the big house.

At this level (100 m2) of the big house, we find a total four big bedrooms and one very large bathroom. Each one of these rooms is furnished with solid handmade furniture, giving us a different decorative character.

Finally when we climb up the big wooden stairs to the top level (75 m2. ) where the main entrance is, and which creates a very impressive atmosphere, the thick chestnut wood of the roof, the big handmade tiles of the floor, the big fire place, the work top of the kitchen, the huge table, of monastery style weighing 500kg, the heavy entrance door, the lighting from the handmade lamps and light devices, as well as the great care that was given to each decorative detail, from the owner.

As in the other house, from the center of the living room we go to the big veranda (25 m2) and we have in front of us the big blue of Pagasitic Gulf and further around us the surrounding mountains.

We return to the living room area, leaving at our right the kitchen area and a small W.C. which is decorated with handmade tiles, and accessories, and also has a shower. From here we come out to the tiled veranda.

On our right is a big kiosk with a single sloped roof, made by hand with quality wood. This kiosk has on one side BBQ and a wooden table with wooden worktops and on the other side, besides a second wooden table with worktops, there is everything that is related with a house electric appliances ( washing machine, dish washer, fruit and vegetable storages, store room, gas stoves etc.)

At the opposite side of the veranda, is a magnificent swimming pool, which is designed with curvy and straight lines and is constructed by jade-blue glass digits.

Finally we climb few steps and we reach the parking area where is also a stone build store room (10 m2).

From this area begins a private uphill road, which after 50 m takes us to the land’s exit, which is bordered by stone walls and a telecontroll wooden gate.

Coming out the entrance, we are on the quiet road of the upper side, having on our left the second property of the land of the 6.000 m2. that has been constructed according the traditional techniques stone walls, creating different levels, alleys between century old olive trees, which end at the most ideal spot of this particular land.

At this spot is constructed by few and specialized traditional technicians working on stone and always under the continuous supervising of the owner - designer and constructor, one mansion made entirelly of stone, which will be one of the kind in all spects and will combine the traditional techniques that stay untouched through the years, with the higher level of quality and comfort, health and safety of a modern house. We must point that the climate in this area is dry and mild.

The entrance is situated in a secondary building of spherical design of 35 m2. In this area that is also the fireplace the stone structure will be shown and in the interior.

The wood of the tilled roof will be shown at the interior. From the balcony door of this area, we go to the small veranda above the swimming pool level. If, from the interior of this area, we go up few steps, we reach the main sitting area, with up lifted wooden roof and an area of 75 m2. The floor is covered with big tiles (65x75cm) roughed and in beige color. The walls inside are painted with a traditional technique (pressed) and in selective places the stone surface will stay in natural style.

To the opposite (east) side of the sitting room, we find the dinning area and the kitchen area, which are separated by a worktop made by handmade bricks. The kitchen has its own entrance to the eastern side of the land, where are situated the parking areas. This independent exit, gives the chance to detour the main house areas, whenever this is requested. At the north east side of the sitting area, will be a spacious WC for the guests, with its own shower having here as well hand made tiles and accessories.

The up lifted wooden roof, allows us to create here, above the diningarea. The kitchen and WC area, a wooden attic, which by having windows, can be used for an office area, or a secondary sitting – living room, with view to the main sitting area and the fire place.

Lastly, at the center of the sitting area, is the balcony door, which leads us to the big porch 2.70. x10.50m where from, we see the swimming pool and further whole og the Pagasitic gulf. The veranda area is decorated by a wooden pergola which has automated system of shade and covering.

Leaving the upper areas we decent through the stairs, which is made by wood and stone, to the lower level of the private areas, which are a total 135sq.m.

In detail, here are, a master bedroom which together with its bathroom is 33sq.m. and has also an office area. It’s direction is towards south, right next to the swimming pool and has a sea view. A second big bedroom of 22 m2 will be right next to the master one, and will have the same direction. The third bedroom of 15 m2 will be situated behind the second bedroom and its direction will be to the east. There is a fourth bedroom of 15 m2 which can be used as play room, cellar, store room or stuff room, in which can be build a small WC.

Besides the bathroom of the master bedroom, which is 12 m2 at this level we have a secondary bathroom to serve the needs of the other rooms, which will be 10 m2.

NOTES

The house will have alarm system – safe box – satellite appliances – Hi–Fi appliances, as well appliances that will support other automatisms.

All of the furniture inside the houses are handmade.

Also is under construction an entrance gate for cars (telecontroled) and different entrance for pedestrians in case they park at the private area which is in front of the property.

Note, that here in the west side of the land, is scheduled to be constructed a second property, of the same – equal standards (for which has being issued building license), either on this specific land, either with adding the neighbor land, which doesn’t have building artiotita.

Finally, there is the ability to construct helicodrome - heliport.

The price for the whole estate is €1,250,000.
